Sissinghurst Castle - 2nd Monday of each month - 12pm to 3pm
The Market is located in the ancient Elizabethan Barn, next to the Granary restaurant within the famous Sissinghurst National Trust site.
We have between eight and twelve stalls consisting of cheese, organic meat, bread, fruit and vegetables, handmade chocolates, preserves, apple juice and beer, with seasonal additions such as cherries and asparagus..
Horsemonden - 2nd and 4th Friday of each month - 9am to 12pm
Horsmonden Farmers’ Market was launched in May 2006, by three local mothers, Liz Taylor, Pippa Ankjaer and Mary Moffat, who were motivated to encourage people to shop locally to reduce ‘FOOD MILES and to support the local rural economy. They also wanted to feed their own children on healthy, fresh, local food.
There are around 20 stalls, covering a full range of produce including meat, game, poultry, eggs, cheese, fruit and veg, bread, jams and pickles, honey, prepared pies, pastries, cakes and bakes and more exotic produce such as olives, pestos, prepared Italian meals. There are also occasional craft stalls, especially in the lead up to Christmas and the market grows in the summer with the addition of seasonal stalls such as asparagus and cobnuts, cherries and soft fruit.
Egerton - 2nd and 4th Friday of each month - 2pm to 4.30pm
Egerton Farmers Market has now been trading for almost four years with most of the original stall holders still selling at the market.
You can purchase local meats, eggs, cheese, fruit and vegetables, cheesecakes, beer, hand made chocolates, cards, bread and cakes, crafts, dairy, perfumes, jams and chutneys, flowers and plants and fresh fish.
Refreshments are available so you can meet up with friends for afternoon tea.
A lively, happy atmosphere plus beautiful views across the Weald of Kent combined with a splendid Hall and helpful stall holders makes this a great market.
Iwade - 1st Sunday of each month - 10am to 1pm
Iwade will be welcoming people from all over the county in its drive to reduce food miles and encourage healthy eating through the availability of fresh, inseason, high quality local produce.
There will be lots of exciting items on offer from fresh juices, fruit and veg, eggs, plants, breads and soups to hand made chocolates, soaps, cakes, preserves, sweets and savouries. As well as a wide range of local meats and game.
There will also be the chance to sit, relax and chat while enjoying the hot and cold refreshments available from the kitchen
